I dig your modified mm/p bass. I have a lakland skyline bob glaub that is modified the same way and it delivers thunderous tones. I also agree with your findings on the rascal bass. A really awesome instrument with great pickups.

Sounds better than anything Gibson ever created. I'm gonna get one of those and move the bridge back 4" to make it a standard scale bass. E strings die prematurely on shorties. Nice demo.👍

How are you silencing the strings for the beginning rift? It looks like you are using your left hand but I can't seem to touch the strings light enough to not hammer them into a note but hard enough to absorb the sound and silence it

Nice review. I agree 100% on the laurel fretboard. I went to buy one in silver and all three that I found locally and horrible looking fretboards.

Wonderful, you made that bird sing. I love my Thunderbird but even after moving the strap button and using a big strap, the body is so light and the headstock heavy that I'm just fighting the dive. Still I absolutely love it for those piano like tones and it's quick neck and not to mention it looks awesome. Thanks for the review.
